This is the perfect way to prepare your own olives for parties with a simple mechanism and very durable design - I can't imagine it will ever break or stop working. All you do is place the olive in the little cup and gently squeeze the handle until the piston finds the pit, then squeeze it out the bottom, release the handle and drop the pitted olive into your serving bowl. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to pit their own olives.
